Croxdale Group has a proud heritage, with its connection to Citroën dating back to 1967. Today, the Group sells and services several well-known brands across its dealerships and workshops.
Finance Director Vicki Halse told us how keeping track of holidays and absences manually had become increasingly time-consuming and difficult to manage.
“We wanted to ensure that all leave was accounted for and nothing was missed. It was a challenge to ensure if days were holidays taken or sick days and the manual process we had in place was very time consuming.”

Since introducing The Holiday Tracker, employees can now see their entitlement at a glance, request holidays with a click, and managers are automatically notified. This means they can review the whole team before approving or rejecting requests.
“We now have a system that allows each individual to see their own holiday entitlement, they can request their holidays at the click of a button, whilst being at home and their manager is notified allowing him to review the full team before approving or rejecting.”
For HR and payroll, everything is recorded in one central place, making it much easier to monitor entitlements and absence.
“It allows me to track holiday entitlement taken, still owing and also any sickness days for payroll and monitoring.”
Helping departments stay fully staffed
One of the most useful features for Croxdale Group is the Team Calendar. It gives managers a clear overview of who’s in and who’s off, so they can plan ahead and make sure departments are covered.
“The Holiday Tracker has all of the information there for me when I need it. I don’t need to ensure it is updated or have a pile of holiday requests to update before I can get the information I need. It allows me to monitor the leave within departments and ensure we are always fully staffed where required.”
