While you\u2019ve always been able to log in to our <a href=\"\/employee-holiday-tracker\">holiday tracker app<\/a> on a mobile device, we always felt the mobile interface could be better.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today we\u2019ve launched a brand-new design, which makes it clearer and easier to use, as well as bringing features and functionality from the desktop version that were previously missing on mobile:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized img-responsive\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-514\" src=\"https:\/\/blogsource.theholidaytracker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"331\" height=\"664\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theholidaytracke-4xhy3odrd6.live-website.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image.webp 441w, https:\/\/theholidaytracke-4xhy3odrd6.live-website.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-149x300.webp 149w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 331px) 100vw, 331px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can now see your holiday entitlement bar and how much of your entitlement is remaining, as well as access the pop-up key illustrating what the colours on your calendar mean.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image img-responsive\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"233\" class=\"wp-image-515\" src=\"https:\/\/blogsource.theholidaytracker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-1.webp\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theholidaytracke-4xhy3odrd6.live-website.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-1.webp 375w, https:\/\/theholidaytracke-4xhy3odrd6.live-website.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-1-300x186.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Managers can now check their team calendar before approving holiday, giving them a two-week window into their team\u2019s planned absence.\u00a0 However, if the squares are too small on their mobile device, they can also switch to a one-week view.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image img-responsive\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"304\" class=\"wp-image-516\" src=\"https:\/\/blogsource.theholidaytracker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2.webp\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theholidaytracke-4xhy3odrd6.live-website.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2.webp 375w, https:\/\/theholidaytracke-4xhy3odrd6.live-website.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2-300x243.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees can request to cancel their holidays and managers can delete entries too \u2013 making the mobile experience much more useful than it previously was.<\/p>\r\n<p>You can also explore the full range of <a href=\"\/features\">Holiday Tracker features<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As an admin, you\u2019ll still need to us the desktop version of the site to do the more complex tasks not suited to a small mobile screen, but you still have the option to \u201cView Desktop Mode\u201d from the top-right menu.\u00a0 This at least gives you the ability to zoom and pan around the site to make any urgent changes in a pinch.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also available now are <a href=\"https:\/\/blogsource.theholidaytracker.co.uk\/2019\/10\/11\/iphone-and-android-apps\/\">iPhone and Android apps<\/a> for your mobile device.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019ve spent the last couple of months re-designing and re-building the mobile interface of The Holiday Tracker.
