Even with a solid team in place, things can slip through the cracks, and keeping everything accurate and up to date can take up a lot of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s the kind of challenge Wilma, HR Manager at Rutherglen &amp; Cambuslang Housing Association, was looking to solve. And it\u2019s a challenge many organisations will recognise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.randcha.co.uk\/\">Rutherglen &amp; Cambuslang Housing Association<\/a>, based in South Lanarkshire, has 19 staff working across Housing Management, Maintenance, Finance, and Corporate Services. With several line managers handling leave approvals, it wasn\u2019t always easy to keep everyone in the loop, or ensure that the central records reflected who was in or off on any given day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cDifferent Line Managers would sign off a holiday sheet and forget to inform the HR Manager, so in effect inaccurate records. And staff not knowing if a person was in or not.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A clear picture for everyone<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since introducing The Holiday Tracker, everything is recorded in one central place. Line managers can now approve holidays and sickness directly in the system, which automatically updates for the HR team. Reception staff also benefit from the shared Team Calendar, which shows at a glance who\u2019s in and who\u2019s off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe Holiday Tracker has been amazing. We now have Line Managers set up to sign off holidays, sickness etc and this feeds through to the HR Admin.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Helping HR run smoothly<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Wilma uses the system daily, from setting up new starters and leavers to pulling reports for audits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI use most of the features\u2026 it has great reporting features which help me at the end of the financial year for auditing purposes.\u201d<\/em><em><br><\/em> <em>\u201cIt just works brilliantly.
